WINCHESTER PRE-WWII MODEL 94 CARBINE. WINCHESTER 94 CARBINE 1110562 30WCF MODERN; C&R Cal. 30 WCF. 20" bbl, full magazine, full blue finish, no saddle ring present, straight grain American walnut stocks with steel carbine buttplate. Bbl shows Winchester Model and Cal. designation rolled at the rear to the left of the sight. Winchester address appears at the rear to the right of the sight. Upper tang is marked "WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK / MADE IN USA". SN is stamped on the forward bottom of frame. PROVENANCE: The collection of Tim Zissler. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl and magazine retain 95% blue finish with only slight muzzle wear and a few miniscule scratches. Markings are sharp. Sights are very good. Bore is slightly frosty with strong rifling. Receiver retains 80% of blue finish with slight mars and scratches overall. Markings are sharp, screws are not molested. Hammer and lever retain a considerable amount of the blue finish. Stocks are fine, full sized and retain nearly all of orig finish with some minor handling marks, especially on the left side of the forend. There is a slight gouge on both sides of the forward part of the forend. Action is crisp. A chance to obtain a pre-WWII production Model 94 "Eastern Carbine". 52471-5 TEP (1,500-2,500)
