WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 RIFLE.WINCHESTER18954752330-40 KRAGMODERN; C&RCal. 30-40 Krag. 28" rnd bbl, blue finish, straight grained American walnut stocks with hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Forend has Schnabel tip with ebony insert. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl retains 95% of the blue finish. Sights very good. Bbl markings are sharp. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Receiver retains 80-85% blue finish with some wear at the top sides. Bolt shows 90% blue. Hammer and lever show considerable blue finish with some erosion on the forward part of the lever. Tang markings are clear and sharp. Stocks are very good, full size, with most of the orig varnish remaining. Stocks have minuscule handling marks overall. Buttplate is fine, with sharp checkering and clear logo. Ebony insert is fine. A very nice 95 Winchester rifle in far above average condition. 52423-1 TEP (2,500-3,000)
