Full blue finish, straight grain American walnut stocks with steel shotgun buttplate. Bbl shows Winchester model and Cal. designation at left rear and Winchester address at right rear. "WP" in an oval appears at the bbl breech and on the top receiver ring. Front sight is a brass beaded Lyman patent. Upper tang is marked "WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK / MADE IN USA". SN is stamped on bottom forward part of receiver. PROVENANCE: The collection of Tim Zissler. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl retains 90% blue finish with slight muzzle wear and a few small handling marks. Markings are sharp, sights are very good, bore is slightly frosty with very strong rifling. Receiver is otherwise very smooth and not pitted. All markings are sharp and clear. Hammer and lever retain most of the blue finish. Stocks are very good, full sized and only show minor handling marks overall. Buttplate shows traces of blue with the balance a grey/brown patina. Forend cap retains 80% of blue. Action is crisp.
