GORGEOUS MARLIN MODEL 1893 DELUXE LEVER ACTION RIFLE.MARLIN189335854238/55MODERN; C&RCal. 38-55. 28" part octogon part rnd bbl with full length magazine. Left side of bbl marked "For Black Powder" with usual address and cal marking on top. Deluxe checkered walnut stocks with Creedmore grip and full steel serpentine butt. Forend is nicely checkered in 3-point pattern and wood appears to match nicely however checkering pattern is slightly different from butt and likely recut. Left side of frame is mounted with proper Lyman 21 receiver sight with proper J code on reverse. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and magazine retain approximately 90% orig blue with scattered losses and minor handling marks. Receiver, hammer and lever retain approximately 70% orig case coloring. Buttplate with traces of orig finish. Buttstock and forearm are very good, checkering as noted above, retain most of a professionally restored finish with scattered light handling marks.
