PAIR OF MODERN SPORT HUNTING RIFLES. SAVAGE 1819 CONVERSION 409948 300 SAVAGE MODERN; C&R Cal. 300 Savage. 24" rnd bbl. Full blue finish. Straight grain checkered American walnut stocks with pistol grip. Bbl shows 2-line Savage address rolled in front of sight mortise. Right side of bbl is marked "HI-PRESSURE STEEL-PROOF TESTED". Front receiver ring is marked SAVAGE/MODEL 99. SN is stamped on bottom of frame in front of lever. Savage logo appears on buttplate at the toe. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 80-90% of somewhat dull blue finish with some handling marks and scratches overall. Front sight is very good. Rear sight mortise is plugged. Bore is frosty with visible rifling. Receiver has 50% of dull blue finish with high point and carry wear. Receiver has two holes drilled in left side for scope mount. Holes are not plugged. Redfield sight has been mounted on left side of receiver. Lever shows a considerable amount of case colored finish which appears orig. All markings are sharp. Stocks are very good, full size and show only miniscule handling marks overall. Checkering is sharp. Pistol grip cap has a few small dents with worn checkering. Buttplate shows 10% blue with the balance being a silver grey patina. Mechanics are crisp. A nice Savage 99 in a very good hunting caliber. 52646-30 TEP (1,250-1,750)
BROWNING BAR GRADE 2 SEMI-AUTO SPORTING RIFLE. BROWNING BAR 58355 M70 30-06 MODERN Cal. 30-06. 22" bbl. Ramp mounted bead front sight with hood and folding leaf rear sight. Bushnell 1.5-4x Banner scope with duplex reticle on see-through mounts. Gloss blue finished bbl and action with Grade 2 engraving featuring pronghorn antelope on right side and bugling elk on left. 4-shot detachable mag held in hinged floorplate. Forearm and pistol grip walnut stock have orig buttplate, gloss finish, hand checkering and swivel bases. 1970 Belgian manufacture. CONDITION: Very fine. 98% orig blue. Stocks show scattered scratches, small dents and marks. Mechanics are fine. Very good bright bore. Optics need cleaning. 52646-35 DS (750-1,000) W/SCOPE
