Casing contains 2-cavity mold, 2-sided eagle flask, L-shaped gun tool, one broken cartridge cap tin and functional key. PROVENANCE: Outstanding estate collection of Confederate and historical arms of Morris Racker. CONDITION: Very good overall with traces of finish in protected areas, otherwise grey with staining and pitting. Discernible cylinder scene. All matching and orig. Well fit grips with hand worn patina. Flask is poor, re-soldered seams. Mold is pitted with replaced locking screw. L-shaped tool retains most of its orig finish and cap tin is very good with some reductions in Ely label. Casing appears after market with purple velvet lining. 51958-5 JS (3,000-5,000)
