COLLECTOR'S LOT OF THREE ANTIQUE SMITH & WESSON PISTOLS. SMITH & WESSON NO 2 4556 32 RF Cal. 32 RF. Bbl 6" oct with rib & semi-circular German silver front sight. 6-shot rnd cyl. Blue finish. 2-pc rosewood grips. CONDITION: Very good. Exterior retains 20% fading blue in protected areas showing scattered small spots of very light pitting. Area above bbl latch shows small dents. Grips show wear spots with scattered handling marks. Bore has dark appearance with largely intact rifling and scattered pitting. All six chambers show some pitting. Mechanics are fine. 52594-4 DS (2,000-3,000)

INSCRIBED SMITH & WESSON MODEL NO. 2 ARMY REVOLVER. SMITH & WESSON NO 2 ARMY 50240 32RF Cal. 32 RF. 5" bbl, full blue finish, 2-pc smooth walnut grips. Bbl shows 1-line Smith & Wesson address on top of rib. SN is stamped on butt of grip frame and on the inside of right grip. Assembly number "GG1" appears on rear face of bbl lug, front face of cylinder and left inside heel of grip frame. Cylinder is marked "PATENTED APRIL 3. 1855. JULY 5. 1859. & DEC. 19. 1863". Right rear side of frame is engraved "J. W. PERIL HUNTINGTON". CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl assembly is a mottled blue/grey patina overall with some blue left in protected areas. Bbl address is slightly washed out from cleaning. There is some staining on the rib and left side. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Frame shows 80% bright blue finish with a few small dents and scratches overall and some staining around the hammer. All markings are sharp. Inscription is sharp. Cylinder shows a generous amount of blue finish blending to plum/brown with a clear patent mark. Chambers are clean. Grips are very good and contain a considerable amount of varnish finish with most of the wear on left side. Mechanics are functional, half-cock notch is broken. A nice Smith & Wesson No. 2 Army that bears further research. 52594-17 TEP (800-1,200)

SMITH & WESSON 38 SINGLE ACTION 2ND MODEL REVOLVER.SMITH & WESSON38 SA 2ND MDL3186738 S&WCal 38 S&W. Bbl 5" rnd with rib. Pinned semi-circular front sight with U-notch rear sight. 5-shot fluted cyl. Spur trigger. Nickel finish, blue trigger with case colored hammer. 2-pc checkered hard rubber grips. Frame & cyl have matching SN's. Manufactured 1877-1891. CONDITION: Very good. 60% nickel showing spots of wear and light pitting. Hammer shows some case colors on sides. Left grip panel has area of repair at butt. Mechanics are fine. Bore has good rifling showing scattered pitting. 52594-18 DS (400-600)
