SCARCE AND FINE CIVIL WAR ENGRAVED AND IVORY GRIPPED "BLISS & GOODYEAR" PERCUSSION REVOLVER.BLISS & GOODYEARPOCKET148528ESACal. 28. This gun is difficult to find in such beautiful "as found" condition, especially with ivory grips. Standard configuration with 6-shot cylinder and 3" oct bbl marked "BLISS & GOODYEAR NEW HAVEN CT". Accompanied by Mr. Ballard's hand drawn display card. PROVENANCE: Lifetime collection of Roger Ballard. CONDITION: Very good to fine overall. All matching SNs including grips. Gun retains strong traces of finish with overall grey/plum patina, crisp engraving and bbl markings. Mechanics are fine with crisp bright bore. 52703-23 JS (800-1,200)
