COLLECTOR'S LOT OF ANTIQUE CARTRIDGE PISTOLS. MOORE FRONT LOADING REVOLVER 1025 32 Cal. 32. Teat Fire. 3-1/4" bbl, blue and silver finish factory engraved, 2-pc walnut grips. Bbl shows correct 1-line Moore address rolled on the top. SN is stamped on bottom of bbl behind lug. Last 2-digits of SN appear on the left inside of grip frame on cylinder ratchet, rear bbl lug, and inside each grip. "20" with inspector "K" is stamped on wedge. This is possibly a factory error. Inspector initial "K" is seen on bbl lug, cylinder ratchet and on grip frame. Cylinder is marked "D.WILLIAMSON'S PATENT JANUARY 5. 1864". Engraving is of the standard factory pattern with slight coverage on the bbl and scroll decoration on either side of the frame and recoil shield. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl shows traces of blue finish with balance a mottled brown patina. Top of bbl has been slightly battered on address. Markings are clear. Bore is dark. Frame retains 50% silver finish with balance showing brass frame. Engraving is sharp, markings are sharp. Cylinder retains 20% bright blue blending to plum/brown patina with some staining. Patent mark is sharp. Grips are very good, intact and show most of the orig finish. Mechanics are crisp. A nice example of a Moore revolver that was a circumvention of the White Patent. These revolvers were very popular in the mid-1860's. One of about 30,000 manufactured between 1864-1870. 52594-8 TEP (2,500-3,500)

E.A. PRESCOTT POCKET MODEL REVOLVER W/CASE. E.A. PRESCOTT POCKET MODEL 36 32 RF Cal 32 Rf. 4" oct bbl with semi-circular front sight. 6-shot rnd cyl. Short grip style brass frame with spur trigger. 2-pc walnut grips. Assembly no. 36 is found underneath left grip. Includes a hand made wood storage box with Sears & Roebuck cartridge guide in lid. Case contains wood cartridge block, small glass oil bottle, and home-made steel ejector pin. CONDITION: Fair. Iron parts have faded to gray with spots of finish. Bbl shows wear at muzzle with weak markings. Brass frame shows pleasing aged tarnish with scratches and series of small dents around cyl pin area. Sanded and refinished grips show wear, left panel is cracked. Mechanics need attention. Cyl does not always rotate and lock properly. Dark bore with intact rifling and light pitting. ENGRAVED FRENCH BULLDOG REVOLVER. .38 Cal. 1 3/4" bbl. Nickel finish 5-shot double action revolver w/ French proofmarks. Bird's head grip, hammer block safety lever on left side of frame. Fine foliate engraving pattern over most of the frame and cylinder. Celluloid smooth faux-ivory grips. CONDITION: Very Good. Most nickel finish is intact with thinning and light oxidation overall. Grips are sound w/ minor splitting at toe and have been filled w/ epoxy for stability.Mechanics are good. Bore has sharp rifling. 52594-19 DS (750-1,250)

REMINGTON MODEL 1871 ARMY ROLLING BLOCK PISTOL. REMINGTON 1871 1224 50 CF Cal. 50 CF. 8" rnd bbl. Blue and case colored finish. 1-pc American walnut grip with American walnut forestock. Bbl shows no apparent marks. Frame shows 2-line Remington address and patent mark on left side "P","S" inspector marks also appear on left side. SN is stamped on the inside of the upper and lower tang. SN's match. 1899 is also stamped on the upper tang, which is a military rebuild number as the bbl seems to be a replacement. Grip shows "C.R.S." cartouche on left side. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl is a dark plum brown patina overall with some roughness at muzzle. Sight is full sized. Bbl index mark is slightly off. Bore is dark with traces of rifling. Receiver is a mottled silver grey patina with slight traces of case color remaining. Breech block and hammer are both dark brown patina. Stocks are very good. Cartouche is legible. Grip has repair at heel. Grips and forearm show mars and dents overall. Mechanics are functional. 52594-14 TEP (600-800)
