ATTRACTIVE AND NICELY FINISHED HIGH ORIGINAL CONDITION PINFIRE REVOLVER.GERMAN ?PINFIRE REVOLVERNSN9.3 mm PINFIRECal. 9.3mm Pinfire (6 shot double action). Bright blued 6" bbl with octagonal breech section is stamped with German crown over "V" proof denoting that this pistol was "in inventory" in 1891, and not subject to newer proof laws. Cylinder has deeply etched scene of Jaeger taking aim at group of stags and hinds in wooded background. Frame appears to be nickel plated, and is scroll engraved. Ebony grips are checkered and have acanthus carving. A number (63 ?) is partially visible on right side of trigger and inside of loading gate, otherwise, aside from proof, revolver is completely unmarked. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90 - 95% orig finishes. Bore is excellent, possibly unfired. 52362-2 MGM195 (3,000-5,000)
