1874 SHARPS SPORTING NO. 3 EXTRA DELUXE RIFLE BY PEDERSOLI IN 45-70 CALIBER. PEDERSOLI 1874 SCR 058 45-70 MODERN Cal. 45-70. . 32" oct bbl with tunnel front sight and elevator tang sight. Case hardened action is beautifully scroll engraved with large gold inlaid moose on left and 4 well executed gold inlaid running buffalo on right, remainder of receiver is near full coverage scroll engraved. Checkered stocks are of straight grained walnut with orig full steel scroll engraved buttplate. Checkered forearm with silver tip. full case hardened action. Dbl set triggers. PROVENANCE: The Forrest G. Rhodes collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near new. Retaining nearly all orig finish to wood and metal, only scattered most minute handling marks noted.
