SHILOH SHARPS SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. SHILOH SHARPS 1874 B5744 45-110 MODERN Cal. 45 110. Fine sporting rifle with 34" heavy oct bbl, 1" across the flats at the muzzle with silver blade front sight, Sharps semi-buckhorn 800 yard ladder rear sight, case colored frame, dbl set triggers with near exhibition quality, highly figured stock & forearm, with extra checkering, a pewter forend tip and a cheekpiece on the stock, with crescent steel buttplate. It is accompanied by an original 2-pc cardboard box. PROVENANCE: The Forrest G. Rhodes collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. Probably unfired. Retains virtually all of its fine original finish to both metal & wood. Forend cap has light rubs on both sides, but should polish out easily. Wood is near perfect with no visible flaws.
