FINE AMERICAN PERCUSSION PISTOL BY JAMES E GOODWIN OF TRUMBULL CT. JAS GOODWIN TRUMBULL, CT PERC KY PISTOL 45 Cal. 45. 6" full oct rifled bbl signed "J.E. Goodwin" in a silver inlay on the top flat of bbl. Bbl is also decorated with eight additional silver inlays. Percussion lock is marked "Baker & Moss" Philadelphia. There is a five pointed silver star inlay on the bottom of the pistol grip, a diamond shaped silver inlay behind bbl tang and two diamond shaped silver inlays opposite the lock. Pistol dates to the second half of the 19th century. CONDITION: Fine condition throughout. Mechanics are functional. Mechanically good lock. 52594-25 RGG (3,000-5,000)
