GROUP OF FOUR 19TH CENTURY PERCUSSION PISTOLS. UNK PERCUSSION PISTOL 50 Cal 50. Heavy almost 2-1/2 lb Kentucky-style pistol with back-action St. Louis made lockplate and bbl is in style and caliber of St. Louis Plains rifles. CONDITION: Good to very good overall. Bbl has overall brown pitted patina, iron lock and trigger guard and screws are a smooth mottled gray. Brass pipes and ramrod tip have mixed brass patinas. Stock has glued crack repairs and several hairlines. Mechanically fine with pitted rifled bore. 52594-22 JS (2,000-3,000)
COMPOSITEPERCUSSION PISTOLNSN36Cal. 36. Composite American single shot pistol utilizing Moses Dickson, St. Louis back-action lock. 9-1/2" overall with a 5-3/4" 2-stage bbl marked "Cast Steel" on left breech. Plain half stock wood grip has brass buttcap and sheet iron trigger guard. CONDITION: Good to very good as configured. Iron has gray pitted patina. SPANISH MIQUELET CONV NSN 24 BORE Cal. 24 bore. Percussion conversion of Spanish Miquelet. 12" overall with 6-3/4" slightly swamped bbl, 4" belt hook, brass mounted. CONDITION: Good to very good. Iron has mixed gray patina. Belt hook and ram rod are new additions as are stamped markings on stock. Mechanically fine, pitted smooth bore. 52594-35 JS (4,500-7,500)
UNATTRIBUTEDPERC KY PISTOLNSN36Cal. 36. Very plain Kentucky style pistol 10" overall with 5-3/8" bbl apparently cut from rifle, trade lock, iron mounted with no provision for buttcap. CONDITION: Good as configured. Bbl has an artificial brown patina with newer, restored bolster. Other components have mixed iron patinas. Stock has several hairlines and crack repairs with old varnish. Mechanically fine with pitted rifled bore. 52594-36 JS (2,000-3,500)
