Buttplate 4" x 1-3/8". 40" full oct unmarked and unsigned smooth bore bbl. 2-pc engraved brass patchbox with fleur-de-lis finial, similar in shape to later Moll rifles. Cheekpiece inlay is moon shaped with a face looking upward. Typical Berk's County shaped brass sideplate. Orig flint lock signed "ROSS". CONDITION: Lock is mechanically sound. Mechanics are functional; Gun is in fair condition. 27-1/2" of forend having been professionally replaced. 52032-1 RGG (2,750-3,750)
