1851 & 1852 DATED PAIR MODEL 1842 ASTON PERCUSSION REVOLVERS.ASTON1842NSN/NSN52Cal. 52. 1) Nice honest "as found" example, orig and complete with dark patina. Matching 1851 bbl and lock. 2) Honest complete and orig gun with good discernible markings and matching "1852" bbl and lock dates. CONDITION: Very good overall. 1) Metal dark, stained and pitted. Bbl proofs discernible though light. Stock sound and solid with two hairlines, one rear of lock; other opposite of lock. Mechanically functional with smooth pitted bore. 2) Metal cleaned to bright/grey. Proofs, bbl and lock markings all fairly crisp. Brass also cleaned with a light mustard color. Grip is well fit with large crack at wrist. Mechanically crisp ,smooth pitted bore. 52093-1 JS (2,000-2,500)
