CONTINENTAL RESTOCK OF BRASS BARRELED FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUS WITH A TOWER LOCK.TOWERBLUNDERBUSSNSN1-1/2Cal. 1-1/2" Bore diameter at muzzle. 16" Swamped round bbl has fine flare to cannon turned muzzle. "Tower" marked Brown Bess lock with orig cock, has bridled friction frizzen. Continental style newer stock with deeply fluted butt has blacksmith made iron furniture, and stock has some relief carving around ramrod channel holding ebony rod with horn tip. CONDITION: Fair to good. All metal parts cleaned. Brass with many dings. Iron parts considerably pitted. Newer stock refinished, with large repairs to comb, and along bbl channel.
