FINE PAIR OF BALKAN FLINTLOCK PISTOLS WITH GILT RELIEF CAST METAL STOCKS, CIRCA 1820. BALKAN FLINTLOCK PISTOLS NSN 60 Cal. 60. 20" overall 12-7/8" slightly swamped engraved bbl with makers marks inset at breech. Guns retain most of their orig gilt to the ornate relief design which include several panoplies of arms. CONDITION: Very good to fine overall, traces of blue found on one bbl, steel overall is gray with staining and pinprick pitting. Guns appear orig and en suite, mechanics are fine with smooth pitted bores. 52632-9 JS (3,000-4,000)
