Round bodied lock with bridled friction frizzen has folding dog engaging deep notch in cock. Furniture is of brass. Nicely figured fruitwood swan neck stock extends to muzzle and has relief carving behind tang and around cheekpiece. Grip is checkered and a long slim patchbox is on right side. Left side of breech area is marked "P*B" ? "1832". CONDITION: Good. Iron parts gray to brown patina. Brass cleaned and toned to gold. Stock has much of what appears to be orig finish, cracked through and repaired at wrist. SSN engraved on sideplate. Lock will not cock. 52367-9 MGM220 (2,800-4,200)
