LOT OF 2 EUROPEAN 19TH FOWLERS. EUROPEAN CONVERSION NSN 58 Cal. 58. Drum percussion conversion 56-3/4" overall, 42" rnd bbl, brass mounted with Ketland lock. CONDITION: Fair to good overall. Iron is cleaned with dark patina with pitting. Brass is cleaned with medium mustard patina. Stock is shattered near muzzle with about a 10" long sliver reduction on right side. Mechanics need attention. 52594-58 JS (1,000-2,000)

NEW YORK FLINTLOCK FOWLER NSN 70 Cal. 70. 53-1/2" overall, 38-1/2" rnd bbl with partial makers mark and "N.YORK". Lock and cock engraved, "Crown / M" proof. Brass mounted with small silver thumbplate. CONDITION: Good to very good overall. Iron is a mottled grey patina. Brass is a light mustard patina. Stock is fairly sound with several cosmetic blemishes. Poor fit of tang to stock. Top jaw and top jaw screw replaced as is ramrod. Mechanics need attention, smooth pitted bore. 52594-64 JS (2,500-3,500)
