PAIR OF EUROPEAN FLINTLOCK FOWLERS. EUROPEAN DBL FLINTLOCK NSN 20 GAUGE Cal. 20 ga. 54" overall, 39" side-by-side flintlock bbls with partially discernible European proofs, mounted with relief cast mountings and buttstock is carved with bearded figure with glass eyes. CONDITION: Good to very good overall. Appears orig with old repair at wrist, otherwise stock is sound with varnished surface with craquelure and hand worn patina. Steel bbls and locks are grey/bright with fine pitting. Right lock functional, left lock needs attention. Smooth clear bores. 52594-55 JS (800-1,200)
EUROPEANPETITE FLINTLOCK RIFLENSN11MM(56BORE)Cal. 11mm (56 bore). 39-1/2" overall, 26-1/2" 2-stage bbl with date engraved "1672". Brass mounted including fixed rear and front blade sights. This diminutive Fowler was likely made for a child. CONDITION: Good overall. Iron is mottled grey overall. Brass mounts have light mustard patina including replaced sideplate. Stock is sound with old cleaning. Crack at forend and 1/2 chip. Mechanics need attention with smooth pitted bore. 52594-63 JS (800-1,200)
