TWO UNASSOCIATED 19TH CENTURY LONGARMS.56KYNSN35Cal. 35. 58" overall with 42" octagonal bbl. Full stock Kentucky rifle, iron and brass mounted. This is an honest example of a working man's gun that would have been used in 19th century America to protect the cabin, shoot small game and other sundry uses. Gun is well used, simply made without provision for patchbox. Single screw lock escutcheon. PROVENANCE: Outstanding estate collection of Confederate and historical arms of Morris Racker. CONDITION: Reconversion with added hammer and frizzen and lock screw. Stock is fairly sound but with several old repairs. Perfect decoration for your 19th century cabin. 51958-25 JS (800-1,200)

67 CARBINE NSN 70 Cal. 70. 36-1/2" overall with 21-1/2" bbl. Tanner-Liege imported saddle ring carbine with spurious Confederate markings, "CO B 12th VIRGINIA" and "C.S." with a battle flag. The other set of initials do appear original, of unknown origin. PROVENANCE: Outstanding estate collection of Confederate and historical arms of Morris Racker. CONDITION: Good to very good overall. Swivel ramrod restored. Metal overall is dark. browned with pitting. Stock is sound with typical blemishes. Mechanically functional with clean smooth bore. 51958-33 JS (800-1,200)
