MISCELLANEOUS LOT OF 19TH CENTURY EDGED WEAPONS.1) Scare and fine condition model 1818 Starr NCO sword with fine original scabbard with frog button retaining most of its original black finish. 25-3/4" blade is well marked "N.STARR / US / P / L.S." (inspector Luther Sage). SIZE: PROVENANCE: Outstanding estate collection of Confederate and historical arms of Morris Racker. CONDITION: 1) Very good overall and much better than normally encountered, full leather grip, though dry and cracking. Blade is overall gray with staining and pitting. Original leather washer. Balance of metal mottled iron patina. Scabbard as noted retains 95% of its original black finish. 51958-39 JS (1,500-2,500)
Early 18th-19th century angular bayonet with indiscernible engraving on socket. 3) Pipe tomahawk with well patinaed head. 4) Bamboo swagger stick with concealed 12" dagger. 5) Indo-Persian all metal horse-headed Mughal-style swagger stick with silver inlaid design and concealed daggers on both ends. 6 & 7) Two child's swords, one is Imperial German. 8) Espada Ancha with branched guard. SIZE: PROVENANCE: Outstanding estate collection of Confederate and historical arms of Morris Racker. CONDITION: Condition on other objects is good to very good overall. Espada Ancha is typically well patinaed with weathered wood grip and guard is loose. 51958-41 JS (800-1,200)
