Serial # 71603. Cal/GA: 40-65. Manufacture date: 1892. Barrel length: 26 inches. Full octagon barrel and full length magazine tube. Original sights. Forend stippled "Leland Shute" on right side. Buttstock has nicks and scratches and a small piece of wood broken out at tang. Bore is excellent, sharp rifling, shiny. This is very rare for a firearm of this age. Metal finish is nicely patina with no rust. Mechanically fine. Originality: 95%.
