TWO AUSTRIAN ART GLASS VASES.LOETZ1) Loetz vase in the Papillon Genre has platinum iridescent oil spot decoration surrounding the amber glass vase. Vase is signed in the polished pontil with crossed arrows within a circle "Austria". 2) Austrian vase has a subtle pulled feather design descending from the lip in colors of pink shading to frosted iridescence. The subtle iridescence shows flashes of green and pink. Unsigned. SIZE: 9" and 5-1/2" t respectively. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Ohio collection. CONDITION: 1) There is one pinhead sized black inclusion on the surface of the glass near the foot that is from the making, otherwise very good to excellent. 2) Very good to excellent. 52815-5 DAB (800-1,200)
