AMPHORA LEAF LADY.AMPHORAAmphora figural tray known as the Leaf Lady depicts Art Nouveau maiden with long flowing hair & gown with large leaves on each side creating trays. She is wearing a gown in purple at top, shading to white at the bottom while the leaves are shaded in green with gilded veins. The base of the figure has another Art Nouveau maiden rising out of the water. Signed on the underside with red mark "Turn. Teplitz. Bohemia RSTK Made in Austria", also marked with impressed "Amphora" within an oval "775 4". Also impressed on back of gown near the foot with artist signature. SIZE: 20" t. CONDITION: There is a small open bubble on the edge of the gown from the making, otherwise very good to excellent. 52808-8 DAB (4,000-6,000)
