RARE WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE THUMBELINA PLATE.WEDGWOODWedgwood Fairyland Lustre plate is decorated in the center with a maiden reclining on a large lily pad and a large insect sitting on another lily pad next to her. A dragonfly flies above against a flame lustre sky. She appears to have a frog on a leash above her. The plate is finished with a Twyford border around the rim. Signed on the underside with Portland vase mark "Wedgwood Made in England". SIZE: 10-5/8" dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 52765-1 DAB (4,000-6,000)
