TIFFANY STUDIOS TURTLEBACK TABLE LAMP. TIFFANY STUDIOS TURTLEBACK 9971 Tiffany Studios table lamp has leaded glass dome shaped shade with a wide row of turtleback tiles surrounding the shade, set against a mottled green and white geometric background. The shade rests on a Tiffany Studios bronze base which is also decorated with a band of turtleback tiles. The shoulder of the base has a single row of acid etched ventilation holes. Base is complete with 3-socket cluster, acid etched heat cap, and is finished in a rich reddish/brown patina. Shade is signed on interior edge "Tiffany Studios New York". Base is signed on the underside "Tiffany Studios New York 9971", also carries an impressed Tiffany Studios logo. SIZE: Shade 16" dia. Lamp 22" t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with very few tight hairlines and no missing glass. Base is very good to excellent. Re-wired with appropriate cloth cord. Heat cap has a darker patina than the rest of the base. 52748-7 DAB (40,000-50,000)
