TIFFANY FAVRILE GLASS CANDLE LAMP.TIFFANYTiffany candle lamp has gold Favrile base with ribbed body and twisted stem leading to a riser that supports a single chandelier socket and shade support. The base supports a gold Favrile shade with honeycomb pattern just below the fitter and a wide and stretched ruffle. The gold iridescence on both the shade and base shows nice purple and pink highlights. Shade is signed within the fitter "L.C.T." Base is signed on the underside "L.C.T. Favrile". SIZE: Lamp 13-1/2" t. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved North Carolina estate. CONDITION: The riser on the base is a non-Tiffany replacement. There is a small chip and crack at the edge of the hole for the electrical cord at the bottom of the base. Otherwise very good. Re-wired with contemporary plastic cord, no plug present. 52746-8 DAB (1,000-1,500)
