TWO TIFFANY STUDIOS PINE NEEDLE DESK PIECES.TIFFANY STUDIOSPINE NEEDLE1) Tiffany Studios pine needle inkwell has acid etched pine needle pattern surrounding the sides and top of the inkwell. The sides are backed in caramel slag glass and the bronze is finished in gold patina. Complete with original glass insert. Signed on the underside "Tiffany Studios New York 847". 2) Tiffany Studios utility box has acid etched pine needle design on sides and top. The design is backed by green slag glass and the bronze is finished in a rich brown patina with green highlights. Signed on the underside "Tiffany Studios New York 800". SIZE: 1) 6-1/2" dia. 2) 4-1/4" w x 3" d. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Upstate New York estate. CONDITION: 1) Very good to excellent with some minor wear and discoloration to patina. 2) Hinge is slightly sprung and lid does not close completely; otherwise very good. 52485-4 DAB (600-900)
