The spokes lead to a center round inkwell with compartmentalized glass insert. The bronze inkwell has a bright gold dore patina and is signed on the bottom of one foot "Tiffany Studios New York 1036". The glass insert is marked "Frank Meeks Patent Pending No. 180".
