HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED DAFFODIL LAMP.HANDELTABLE LAMPDAFFODILHandel table lamp has reverse painted dome shade with yellow daffodils and small red flowers with yellow centers, all set against a mint green background. The shade is further decorated with two panels of shadowy leaves and is finished on the exterior in chipped ice. The shade rests on an original Handel base with round stepped foot and urn shaped body. The body is decorated with a geometric band at the shoulder with four evenly spaced square floral medallions. The base is complete with a three socket cluster and fleur de lis cap, all finished in rich brown. Base is signed on the underside "Handel", shade is signed on the inside edge "7122 Handel" with artist's initials. SIZE: Shade 17-7/8" dia. Lamp 24" t. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Kentucky collection. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with some wear to finish. 52742-1 DAB (6,000-9,000)
