THREE DURAND VASES.DURAND1) Large Durand vase has body with light vertical ribbing and is done in transparent amethyst glass. Signed on the underside with "V" mark "Durand 1710 / 10". 2) Durand vase has clear amber applied foot with light iridescence showing strong purple and blue highlights. The foot supports a tall, slender cobalt blue iridescent body and neck; the blue iridescence is very bright with subtle flashes of purple. Signed in the polished pontil with etched signature "Durand". 3) Threaded vase attributed to Durand has orange iridescent body and is decorated with gold iridescent random threading encircling the entire vase. Unsigned. SIZE: 1) 11" t. 2) 13" t. 3) 6-5/8" t. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved North Carolina estate. CONDITION: 1) Very good to excellent. 2) Very good to excellent. 3) Very good to excellent with very little loss to threading. 52746-16 DAB (1,000-1,500)
