TWO VICTORIAN GLASS VASES. N/A 1) Victorian art glass vase has gilded pattern of stylized flowers, stems, and leaves all with beaded decoration. The vase is further decorated with a peacock in flight at the base of the neck. All set against a mottled orange, pink, and cream background. The vase is cased on the interior in white. Unsigned. 2) D.q. satin glass vase is decorated with a gilded bird resting on a branch with gilded leaves on the sides and enameled foliage below. All against a cream shading to pastel yellow d.q. background. the vase has a ruffled lip that is pulled on the sides to create two handles. The back of the vase is decorated with colorful enameled cattails. Unsigned. SIZE: 1) 12" t. 2) 13-3/4" t. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Ontario, CAN collection. CONDITION: 1) Very good to excellent. There is a small internal air bubble visible at the lip but does not break the surface. 2) Very good to excellent. 52654-35 DAB (300-500)
