MAGNIFICENT GOLD INLAID AND ENGRAVED 20 GAUGE PERAZZI MX2000 S SHOTGUN IN FIELD CONFIGURATION, WITH EXHIBITION STOCK WOOD AND CASE.PERAZZIMX2000 S11874120 GAW/CASE, ACCESSMODERNCal. 20 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. 27-1/2" Mono-bloc bbls with narrow, matted ventilated rib are gold inlaid "Perazzi BRESCIA MADE IN ITALY" on left ejector housing. Bbl flats are stamped with 2001 Italian nitro proofs. Blued low profile trigger plate OU action with fixed trigger group features gold plated selective single trigger and non-automatic safety. Action is engraved and gold inlaid with very attractive device of rose blossom accented ribbon scrolls above and below "Perazzi MX 2000 S" on sides. Rose and bud accents in gold flank these devices. Borders and beads of action are accented with gold lines. Bottom of action has central medallion of matching ribbons and roses. A burst of scroll is on trigger guard bow flanked by more gold rose blossoms. This fine work is signed "Zacchi" on trigger plate. Exhibition quality superbly marbled burl figured flesh toned European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-1/8" over checkered wood butt. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching, slim, one piece forend has Deeley type release. Bore diameter: top -.625, bottom - .625. Bore restrictions: top - .030 (full), bottom - .015 (mod). Drop at heel: 2-1/8", drop at comb: 1-7/16". Cast: neutral. Weight: 6 lbs. 11 oz. LOP: 14-1/8". Black plastic Perazzi marked case is lined in Perazzi patterned cloth and contains instruction manual and other papers in red cloth folder, stock removal tool, and bags for action and bbls. CONDITION: Excellent, essentially as new, with only the faintest of handling and assembly marks on all wood and metal surfaces. Mechanically excellent.
