Nice black and white Dunes/Oceano photograph by Edward H. Weston (1886 to 1958). Initialed and dated LR EW1936, portfolio back-stamp #12. From the 50th Anniversary Portfolio produced in 1952 with son Brett Weston (1911 to 1993), consisting of 12 select photographs in an issue of 100 portfolios. Dunes/ Oceano is one of the most sought after photographs by Edward. Overall condition is very good, there is a minute fly-spec at the center of the image. Mounting board has nail marks around board. Freshly framed with UV-resistant glass.
