WINCHESTER 1866 SADDLE RING CARBINE. WINCHESTER 1866 34903 44 Cal. .44. 20" bbl. Comes equipped with two bbl bands, front bbl band is equipped with sight integrated into bbl band. Sling swivel is attached to rear bbl band, other end of sling swivel is in place at end of stock. No address on bbl can be found. Receiver has deep mustard color which is evenly spread to both sides. Hammer, trigger and lever have dark patina. CONDITION: Good as refinished. Bbl is a dark blue that indicates a refinish some time ago, as no bbl address is evident. Numerous rust and pit marks on right side of bbl as well as numerous rust spots on right side mag tube. Brass looks to be of a deep mustard color without any polishing for a long period of time on either side. Right side plate has a few dings in it, nothing serious. Stock does not fit receiver well as it is numbered "4594" and is not orig to gun. Stock appears to have been sanded as is evident at brass above wood line. Buttplate does not fit stock. A good entry level "Yellow Boy" saddle ring carbine. 53157-3 MS (4,000-6,000)
