THE VERY FINEST CONDITION DELUXE WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 WITH MAGNIFICENT 3 - 4X HIGHLY FIGURED SELECT WALNUT STOCK AND FACTORY LETTER. WINCHESTER 1876 36591 45-75 Cal. 45-75. 28" full oct bbl. Full length mag tube. Case colored receiver. All screw heads on receiver are untouched. Pistol grip stock with stunning highly figured honey colored walnut that rates 3X or higher. Stock is equipped with sling swivel on bottom mounted correctly in place. Forend cap also has sling swivel mounted correctly in place. Standard "H" grade of checkering is extremely crisp with 26" line checkering. Pistol grip mounted with ebony insert correct for this early style variation. Comes with a thick base veneer long range adjustable tang sight. Standard rear bbl sight with globe front sight with bubble level inserted. Comes with 5-pc cleaning rod. Includes set trigger which functions properly. Accompanied by Winchester Factory Letter confirming special order features and ship date Sept 27, 1883. Receiver retains 99% original rainbow case colors on both sides and 99% original nitre blue on loading gate. Lever and hammer retain 98% brilliant original case colors. The receiver of this magnificent rifle is brilliant vivid and as good as it gets with no appreciable wear showing on either side. Condition of receiver extends to upper and lower tang as well, showing no wear. Finish on stock retains 99% finish, as does the forearm. Buttplate shows 99% of vivid case color. Forend cap retains 98% of case color. Bore appears unfired. One of the finest 1876s that exist, and it would be impossible to better this condition. Mechanics are mint. An absolute stunning model 1876 that would please even the most prestigious collector.
