Bottom of board is painted in red "NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A.". "NEW YORK SAN FRANCISCO" are below Connecticut address. Board has pistol and rifle cartridges displayed in an array in the shape of a double "W". Center of board shows a vignette of 2 hunters in the woods with a dead bear. Vignette says "REPEATING RIFLES" on one side and "AMMUNITION" on other side in a riband. Cartridges are all labeled. Left "v " of W shows painting of mallard duck in flight. Right "v " of W shows moose head painted. Center vignette has pistol cartridges over top border. Bottom of "W" has grooved bullets and patched bullets. Paper shot shell cartridges are mounted on left side; brass shot shell cartridges are on right side. Primers are mounted on all points of double "W"s and below painting of duck and moose. Frame retains most of varnish with some slight scratch marks. Backboard is clean with some abrasions on top left corner. Painting is very good; color remains brilliant.
