Board is framed in oak with a silver scalloped border around backboard. Top of backboard is marked "UNITED STATES CARTRIDGE COMPANY". Half way down is marked "ESTA-D 1869" on left side of shield. Right side of shield is marked "LOWELL MASS". Bottom of board is marked "U" with "No 1" on left side and "S" with "No 2" on right side. Corners all have badge decoration marked "US CARTRIDGE COMPANY". Cartridges are mounted on a red shield motif. Board contains rifle and pistol cartridges and shot shells, all arranged in a circle on shield. Cartridges are all labeled.
