EXTREMELY FINE SMITH & WESSON 2ND MODEL AMERICAN SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. SMITH & WESSON 2ND MODEL AMERICAN 13186 44 Cal. 44. Standard configuration with 8" keyhole shaped bbl. Pinned half-moon blade front sight. 1-line Smith & Wesson address. Blued and case colored. This is an exceptional example retaining virtually all of its orig finish .This particular gun was manufactured in 1873. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Extremely fine overall. Gun appears all matching and orig, retaining over 95% bright blue finish overall with smooth muted case colored trigger guard and hammer. Grips have light edge wear and a slight mis-fit with grip strap overlapping at inside toe. Mechanically sluggish due to grease build up, with bright shiny bore. 53091-95 JS (10,000-12,500)
