WINCHESTER MODEL 62 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE IN ORIGINAL WINCHESTER BOX. WINCHESTER 62A 161816 22LR MODERN; C&R Cal. 22 LR. 23" rnd bbl, 3/4 magazine, full blue finish, straight grain American walnut stocks with Winchester hard rubber buttplate. Bbl shows Winchester address, model, Cal. and trademark rolled on left side next to rear sight. "WP" proof is struck on top of bbl and top of receiver. SN appears on forward bottom of frame and on lower tang. Lot includes orig shipping box. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Extremely fine, nearly new in box. Rifle shows 99.9% orig blue finish overall. Markings are sharp and clear. Rifle was not assembled. There are a couple of minuscule handling marks on buttstock. Box is in very good condition with one broken corner and clear advertising on cover.
