WINCHESTER 62A SLIDE ACTION RIFLE. WINCHESTER 62A 367771 22RF MODERN; C&R Cal. 22 RF. 23" rnd bbl, 3/4 magazine, full blue finish with straight grain American walnut stocks. Bbl shows Winchester address, trademark, model and Cal. designation rolled on left side of rear sight. Sights are standard for this model. "WP" proof is struck on top of bbl and receiver ring. SN appears on bottom of receiver and lower tang. Buttplate has Winchester logo. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl retains 95% blue finish with some staining toward muzzle and slight muzzle wear. Sights are very good. Markings are sharp. Bore is dirty with visible rifling. Receiver retains 98% orig blue with some slight high-point wear. Trigger guard shows some scratching in front of the bow and on top of bow. Markings are sharp. Mechanics are crisp. Stocks are very good, full sized and retain most of their orig finish with some minor handling marks overall. Buttplate is very good. 53094-114 TEP (500-625)
