WINCHESTER MODEL 63 DELUXE SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE WITH MARBLE'S TANG SIGHT WITH FACTORY SHIPPING BOX. WINCHESTER 63 129055 22LR MODERN; C&R Cal. 22 LR. 23" rnd bbl, full blue finish. Nicely figured American walnut stocks with checkered pistol grip and forearm. Pistol grip is capped. Checkered steel buttplate. Bbl shows Winchester trademark, model and Cal. designation rolled on left breech beside rear sight. "WP" proof is stamped at bbl breech and on top of receiver. SN is stamped forward portion of receiver adjacent to same number stamped on trigger guard. Tang sight shows "MARBLE'S GLADSTONE MICH" on right side with patent marks on left side. Stock has been inletted to fit rear of tang sight. Accompanying this rifle is the orig shipping box from Winchester to Joseph S. Clinger, Burgoon, Ohio on May 10, 1954. Box has Model and SN written in pencil on lid. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains 98% orig blue finish with some staining toward muzzle and a few small scratches overall. Markings are sharp. Sights are very good. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver also retains 99% of orig blue finish with only slight high-point wear. Sight is very fine. Mechanics is crisp. Stocks are very fine and retain nearly all of their varnish finish and very few handling marks. Checkering is sharp. Buttplate retains most of the orig blue. Pistol grip cap is fine. A very hard to improve upon Winchester Model 63 deluxe rifle made in 1955. Box is in good condition, slightly crushed but complete. 53094-81 TEP (2,500-3,000) W/BOX
