WINCHESTER MODEL 63 SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE. WINCHESTER 63 116000 22LR MODERN; C&R Cal. 22 LR. 23" rnd bbl, full blue finish, straight grain American walnut stocks with checkered steel buttplate and plain pistol grip. Bbl shows Winchester trademark, model and Cal. designation rolled on left side by rear sight. "WP" proof is struck on top of bbl and receiver. SN appears on bottom front of receiver adjacent to matching number on trigger guard. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl retains 95% blue finish that is thinning somewhat toward muzzle with a few light scratches. Sights are very good. Markings are sharp. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains 90% bright blue finish overall with some high-point wear and a few handling marks. Mechanics are crisp. Stocks are fine showing most of the orig varnish finish with some handling marks commensurate with age of rifle. Buttplate shows most of the orig blue as does forend cap.
