EXCEPTIONALLY FINE COLT LIGHTNING 1877 REVOLVER. COLT 1877 94271 38 Cal. 38. 3-1/2" rnd bbl with roll die caliber designation on left side of bbl. Blue in case color finishes with 3-line Hartford address on top of bbl. Niter blue finished appointments inclusive of screws, trigger, hammer and traverse cylinder pin latch. Two piece Rampant Colt checkered hard rubber grips with blue steel integral front sight and storekeeper pattern cylinder pin. Manufactured 1893 as verified by SN. Has 3-line patent dates on left side of frame with Rampant Colt to rear of patent dates. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very fine with over 97% blue finish remaining on bbl. 90% approximately on cylinder. Case colors are vivid with slight silvering at high points of recoil shield. All screw heads are intact and are fine. Bore is excellent with strong rifling and bright.
