SELDOM SEEN SET OF 11 VARIOUS FACTORY GUNSMITH JIGS USED IN MANUFACTURE OF COLT DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVERS, MODELS OF 1877 AND 1895.

Lot includes jigs for bolt, hand, handspring, hammer, trigger, strut, trigger spring, and sear for Colt double action revolvers. These jigs were used in the factory during the manufacture of these revolvers. These tools are rarely encountered and having this many is a very unique display of the tool used in the manufacture of Colt double action revolvers of the 19th and early 20th century. Tools are attached to a plexiglass board for display. SIZE: PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very good. Tools all show grey/brown patina with sharp markings. This would be a wonderful addition to a collection of Colt double action revolvers showing the tools that were used in the manufacture of these revolvers. 53094-186 TEP (3,000-4,000)
