T. S. BEACHHILL-ON-SEA SUSSEX" dated "JUNE 23, 1917". 2) Pasteboard box with a mottled red/black finish. Box is unmarked with the exception of "50050" written in pencil on back. 3) Pasteboard box with a mottled grey/blue with red accent for a S&W 1-1/2" size revolver. Back of box has written in ink "SMITH WESSON REVOLVER BOUGHT / AT COBRING FROM MAJOR JEFFREY TOSTALL / NO 15979 1-1/2" SIZE / $14.00 RICHARD B SAMPSON SEPTEMBER 19 1866". 4) Black cardboard box for a S&W 38 4" DA revolver. Box is covered with a black cloth material. White end label shows "38 DOUBLE ACTION NICKEL 4"". Inside label in lid shows directions for use. Handle and straps are intact. Lining and label are very good, and accessories are very good. 2) Good to very good.
