LOT OF 4 BOXES FOR SMITH & WESSON REVOLVERS.

1) English leather luggage case for 2 Smith & Wesson revolvers. Box has leather straps. Lining is red with partitions. Box contains. Cleaning rod and 2 turn screws. Inside lid has Cogswell & Harrison label. Accessories are all marked "C & H". Lid has train labels and the initial "F.W.B.". Paper label under initials identifies passenger "LIEUT. C. W. PATERSON C. T. S. BEACHHILL-ON-SEA SUSSEX" dated "JUNE 23, 1917". 2) Pasteboard box with a mottled red/black finish. Box is unmarked with the exception of "50050" written in pencil on back. 3) Pasteboard box with a mottled grey/blue with red accent for a S&W 1-1/2" size revolver. Back of box has written in ink "SMITH WESSON REVOLVER BOUGHT / AT COBRING FROM MAJOR JEFFREY TOSTALL / NO 15979 1-1/2" SIZE / $14.00 RICHARD B SAMPSON SEPTEMBER 19 1866". 4) Black cardboard box for a S&W 38 4" DA revolver. Box is covered with a black cloth material. White end label shows "38 DOUBLE ACTION NICKEL 4"". Inside label in lid shows directions for use. SIZE: PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: 1) Very good. Box is intact. Handle and straps are intact. Lining and label are very good, and accessories are very good. 2) Good to very good. Box is complete but lid has broken corners with tape repairs and one broken hammer hole in the side. 3) Very good. Box is intact with no broken corners and no tape repairs. Inside of box is stained. 4) Very good to fine. Box is completely intact. Labels are clean. Inside box has some staining. 53094-145 TEP (2,500-3,000)
