REMINGTON DOUBLE DERINGER TYPE II MODEL NO. 3. REMINGTON DOUBLE DERRINGER 789 41 RF Cal. 41 RF. 3" bbl. Full nickel finish. 2-pc checkered hard rubber grips. Top of bbl reads "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION. N.Y." in one line. SN is struck on bottom of bbl group and on bottom inside of grip frame. Grips are not marked. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl cluster retains nearly all the bright nickel finish with slight wear marks overall. Bbl markings are sharp. Bores are bright with visible rifling. Frame retains nearly all of the slightly frosty nickel finish. Extractor, screws, latch, hammer and trigger show a generous amount of blue finish. Grips are fine with sharp checkering, no losses and only slight high point wear. Mechanics are crisp. A fine example of a model No. 3 Remington double Deringer. 53094-43 TEP (1,000-1,250)
