UNIQUE ENFIELD SHTLE III* 1918 WWI CUTAWAY .303 RIFLE. BRITISH ENFIELD CUTAWAY K5073 303 MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 303. 25" bbl. Standard Enfield markings on right of butt socket. Dated 1918. Right side of gun professionally cut away to show mechanics. Dummy 303 round in chamber. Cut off firing pin, spring, cocking knob in small bag with gun. Bolt does not appear to be numbered. Mag is British renumbered to match. Accessories in butt. Nosecap and wood are unnumbered. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very fine with the majority of a professional British style black painted finish. Markings are clear. Wood is excellent as cutaway. Bore is fine.
